Representative Clients

Karpan and White P.C. represents a wide variety of clients.  Ms. Karpan was a special assistant attorney general for the Wyoming Board of Medicine from 2005 through June, 2010.

Ms. Karpan successfully represented a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers against the Union Pacific Railroad involving an award of a public law board under the Railway Labor Act.  

Ms. Karpan successfully represented a non-profit rodeo in a declaratory judgment action brought by Terra Nova Insurance Company.  The Honorable Clarence Brimmer, United States District Court Judge for the State of Wyoming, decided that Terra Nova`s insurance policy did cover  participants in the non-profit`s annual rodeo.  The United States Tenth Circuit affirmed Judge Brimmer`s decision.   

Ms. Karpan has also successfully brought ADA discrimination cases and personal injury cases.  Ms. Karpan has also represented Wyoming`s protection and advocacy system for persons with disabilities.  Ms. Karpan, working with the Wyoming attorney general`s office paved the way for the Honorable Alan B. Johnson, United States District Court for the State of Wyoming, to issue an opinion that HIPAA did not impair her client`s ability to obtain records of behalf of persons with disabilities. It was the first decision based on Federal law in the country.



Ms. White files Chapter 7 petitions.

Ms. White has formed dozens of corporations and limited liability companies.  Ms. White has drafted buy-sell agreements for  the sale of small businesses. Ms. White represents credit unions from many states in bankruptcy matters.  Ms. White has represented two local Cheyenne credit unions with collections matters.

Ms. White has represented over seventy workers` compensation clients.

Ms. White also practices personal injury law.  Working with Ms. Karpan and Mr. White, Ms. White has collected over $1.2 million for her personal injury clients.
